We appeared on mainstream TV today. (No big deal, we were just re-enacting a scene out).
This might sound stupid, but that’s one of my gazillion life goals crossed out. Hehehe!
Despair is

..just a fleeting concept meant to be defeated by strong contenders of a difficult mental fight, enunciated by the despised pairing of these two words: Solo+thesis.

Hooray for friends we can hang out with under the scorching noon sun any day to talk unwanted angst away!

Accept your failures–never erase. Because in life, you can never erase your mistakes.

Learn to draw over your mistakes. Shape them, make them work for life.

Take your pets out to play in public!
What’s “routine” and “exercise” to Poochi here (or your pet dog) may actually be a serendipitous moment of connection for strangers and create an afternoon they’ll remember for life!

Change the World, One Photographer at a Time
4 February, 2009
It’s the UP OPTICS ACLE experience–Photos that moved the world, and how to take them (more info here).
In this picture, UP OPTICS’ “Kuya”, and forever-resource person, photographer Dan Cercado, shows off one of the few pictures that sits framed in his house. “It was taken with this point-and-shoot camera.”

Fangirls?
I am reminded that one doesn’t need fancy cameras to take photos that “change the world”. All it takes is a camera, and a heart to see things others can’t, to learn/”invest“ in skills to do justice in the moment you’re capturing, to be humble enough to realize that you’re supposed to take pictures with the purpose of glorifying and share the ”awesomeness“ of life in this day and age.
I am humbled and educated in this ACLE (Haha, I’m plugging). Then again I always learn from Kuya Dan. Read his blog to learn how he takes his pictures.

It's THAT trademark grin! :D
Thank you for sharing how you do photography Kuya Dan!

Andalasia/Andalucia
19 January, 2009

Ay sus, silly me for interchanging the two, and insisting they’re the same name:
Andalasia is the animated Princess land in the movie Enchanted.
Andalucia is the coffee place in Antipolo owned by a young, savvy real-life dentist couple who are churchmates of a friend. Noticeably, the husband IS a music buff, and the wife is an unstoppable “shopaholic”/fashionista :) Seeing the owners hanging out there on their “day off” from their dayjobs, and hearing James Morrison (a favorite :D) and some nineties alternative music play in the background instantly made me love this place. Too bad it’s kinda far away. ^^;
In How I Met Your Mother, Tedd tells Barney, “We should buy a bar!”
I say, “We should buy a cafe!”

Oh it’s so easy, it’s like this:

- Grab a friend (or in my case, grab my cousins).
- Keep all lights open.
- Forget to bring speakers or headphones.
- Make sure the wi-fi connection you’re stealing from the neighbor is crappy
- Open Youtube in another window. View cute cats and rats loving each other while the other side of the “door” loads.
- Remember at the last minute that you, the bravest of ‘em all, hated seeing gory stuff because you remember them so well they’ll give you graphic nightmares. Leave the table, and take sissy pictures like this, or pay a visit to the dessert table.

I learned English from a school five minutes away from where I took this picture.
I don’t think I’m THIS bad:

Your grim face and bouncer-pose, along with what’s painted beneath your feet makes me really scared to park at your place now koya:

“Jamaica <3’s Edgie” on the store shutters, and the man and his, uhm, chicken. The contemporary tree carving:

But that experience can transform into one that’s bearable and even enjoyable.. Just get a friend to stay steady by your side :)
