The Nth Confession
29 February, 2008

The 29th of February. A leap year. Make these dates a day you’ll never forget.
Thank you for making 2008’s something I’ll remember.
Tambay Early

I’m going to miss these hour-and-a-half’s breaks after a 7am class, these talks with whoever we know passes by and happens to share minutes with us before they return to their own lives.
Published!
27 February, 2008

Wow. Some of my classmates are actually published academic writers now. Twenty year old students with A-plus-plus-plus class papers!
Many of them could rise up in the Philippine Academic Star Circle if they wanted to. That’d be way better than being faceless corporate employees.
Philippine-colored Student Parties
26 February, 2008
Not the socialite parties. Say hello to the political student parties!

I’m all go for RED. They’re activists, which I’m not completely fond of, but I consider their plans this time to be more stable and practical than the other parties’.
I mean, here’s an example: Having lobby benches versus creating practical-skills/class electives on multimedia information design. Le DUH.
Gremlin Cat

Nooo….. don’t do that to Gyunyu!
I find lifting cats from the neck so painful (even if it’s normally ok to do so). See how it stretches the cat’s face? Nyyyaarrr.

Guess who goes crazy when she discovers they’ve gone out of stock of this Chinese milk tea in 7-11.

Lone
21 February, 2008

Sometimes I’d rather sit on an isolated floor in a certain building in school, especially when I want to sort out the mess I made out of life.
Sample scene: I pop open my laptop, pretend I’m concentrating on a paper when I’m actually plotting out all too wrong sadism through outlining a to-do list I’ll can hardly finish.
I like watching people where I sit, especially when minutes have passed and still no one recognizes me. I find a comfortable silence of the mind when I’m in a crowded place.
It gets lonely though. I always hang out in spots like these but I never stay for long.
Never a Problem
20 February, 2008
I texted someone who lived nearby how frustrated I was with a project I’m making; it’s 11 P.M. and I was in a place an hour away from home, with no traffic.
That night I was in a city where a famed psycho killer was rumored to be on the loose. It was quite creepy to go out at night, add the fact that you’re a girl… But this friend went out of her house to console me! Smack at a place I wasn’t familiar in, at an ungodly hour. Yeah I was shocked!

Immediately an hour later, I felt better, happier and more hopeful of what’s happening with my production team (*ehem*), after chilling out with her in a lugaw stand in that shivery-cold midnight weather in Antipolo.
Night in School
20 February, 2008

3AM. Antipolo–it’s cold. After-school, movie production for class. Friends, not-friends–”acquaintances“. Cameras. Love lives, dream jobs, parental angst. Freshman, sophomore, junior, senior. Japanese scripts, movies, and songs. Coke Sprite Royal. 7AM Japanese class; I have to go home and take a bath, too, y’know.

Cat chronicles!
(Better to see this cute cute cat than the eyebags I’ve accumulated for what I’ve still been up doing all day.)
