My Lola was a Beauty Queen

… and we have chests of vintage pictures that documented it all.

She used to be one of Pangasinan’s “pamato” and “darling” because her parents were teachers in one of the more prominent schools there.

These pictures are now part of the collection of those photos my Lola Ma did not rip apart. Yeah, her vanity extends to the point where she just rips off photos when she thinks she’s ugly in it.
